2019 Joint NGO Statement to Biological Weapons Convention, Meetings of Experts, United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs
CeBGID participated in the development of the 2019 Joint NGO Statement to BWC. It was endorsed over 50 NGOs and individual participants.
The 2019 BWC Meetings of Experts is taking place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva from 29 July to 8 August 2019. The Meetings of Experts is considering the following topics:
○ MX1 - Cooperation and Assistance, with a Particular Focus on Strengthening Cooperation and Assistance under Article X
○ MX2 - Review of Developments in the Field of Science and Technology Related to the Convention
○ MX3 - Strengthening National Implementation
○ MX4 - Assistance, Response and Preparedness
○ MX5 - Institutional Strengthening of the Convention
