CeBGID endorsed the Joint NGO Statement to strengthen the functionality of the Biological Weapons Convention. The Joint NGO Statement was endorsed over 40 NGOs around the globe, and was delivered by Matthew P. Shearer (John Hopkins Center for Health Security, USA) during the BWC Meeting of States Parties in Geneva, Switzerland (December 4-7, 2018).

CeBGID statements that the Biological Weapons Convention should continue strongly its mission for the benefit of the global health security.
