The Center for Biodefense and Global Infectious Diseases has become a member and coordinator of the Joint Advisory Council (CMM) at the Intersecretarial Commission on Biosafety of Genetically Modified Organisms (CIBIOGEM)-CONACYT, Mexico. The CCM´s main aim is providing a comprehensive counseling on social, economic, regulatory and promotion policies at national and international level based-on biosafety principles focused on Genetically Modified Organisms.
